What is FixPilot AI?
FixPilot AI is a guided troubleshooting experience for home appliances. You describe the symptoms, we walk you through a structured, safety-checked diagnosis, and you get clear next steps — including an honest "call a professional" recommendation when that's the right answer. It's live now as an early beta for five appliance categories, and we keep verifying each piece before expanding it.
When will the diagnosis tool be available?
It's available now as an early beta — free to try for washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and ovens & ranges. It's safety-first and honest about confidence: some results are a useful shortlist, and complex or risky situations route to a professional. We ship in verified milestones, so coverage and polish grow as we validate usage.
Which appliances do you cover?
The early beta covers five categories: washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and ovens & ranges. Coverage may evolve based on what people actually use.
How is FixPilot different from Googling it or asking a chatbot?
Search results, videos, and forums give you scattered, often contradictory advice — with no way to know what's safe, correct, or current. General AI chat sounds confident about anything, but it doesn't follow appliance-specific safety rules and can't hand you to a real technician. FixPilot is structured: one question at a time, based on your actual symptoms, safety-checked before any step, with an honest professional handoff when a repair is risky or uncertain.
Can FixPilot actually save me money?
That's the goal. By helping you confirm the likely cause before you buy parts or book a service call, FixPilot is designed to cut down on unnecessary part replacements and expensive mistakes — while being honest when a professional is genuinely the right call. You don't save money by attempting a repair that isn't safe; you save it by knowing which repairs are safely within your reach.
Does FixPilot replace a repair technician?
No — and we don't want to. FixPilot helps you understand the problem and decide if a fix is safely within your reach. Risky, complex, or low-confidence repairs route to a professional. The repair CTA is our way of sending qualified calls to real technicians.
Is FixPilot safe to use?
Safety is the first thing we check, not the last. The diagnosis flow is built with deterministic safety screening: gas smells, sparks, smoke, flooding, and electrical faults always route straight to a professional. You can read our full commitments on the Safety page.
How does the professional repair referral work?
Every "Get Repair Help" button preserves the parameters you arrived with — UTM campaign data and an article/source parameter from the owner's WordPress pages and PPC ads — and records them with the referral so the repair partner can attribute each call back to its original source. The destination is the owner's repair line, 1-833-422-6740 (a phone CTA). Because phone links can't carry query strings, attribution for calls is captured in the anonymous event log at click time.
Does FixPilot cost money?
The core troubleshooting experience is free in the early beta. Later, optional premium features may be introduced with transparent pricing — but no billing is connected today, and nothing will be charged without clear disclosure first.
Do I need an account?
No. Basic diagnosis won't require an account. Optional accounts to save your history are a later milestone and will be clearly opt-in.
Is my data private?
Today, this site collects no personal data — no accounts, no forms, and no tracking pixels of our own. When we add accounts, history, or analytics, we'll update the Privacy Policy before those features go live.
What if I smell gas, see smoke, or have flooding?
Stop using the appliance, get everyone away from the area, and call your local emergency services if there's immediate danger. Do not attempt DIY troubleshooting of gas, electrical, or flooding hazards. Detailed guidance is on the Safety page.
Still need repair help?
If your appliance issue can't wait, the tracked repair CTA is ready — and a real repair partner will be connected soon.
Referral tracking included — UTM and article/source parameters are preserved in the destination link. Repair partner connection coming soon.
